Just married!

Just married!

Some men regard marriage as the end of passion and settle down to being just comfortable. Perhaps traditional sentiments like “till death do us part” do seem to paint a bleak picture for the usually commitment phobic male.

The man tends to think of the wedded state as imprisonment while the woman regards it as a bond of heart and soul. Both are right in some ways. However, what makes commitment practical in every marriage is trust. With commitment, both parties can trust each other for the rest of their married lives, for both their physical and emotional wellbeing.

It takes trust to make things work, because without it, commitment is like an annoying itch which can soon develop into an open wound if you keep scratching at it. A marital union doesn’t necessarily have to be bleak if you consider what it was like before that piece of paper was signed. A life together.

A man & woman : What is he thinking?

April 22nd, 2009

Do you know what is in his mind right now? Who knows what a man is thinking about beneath that veneer of sports, cars and work? In terms of relationships, it’s quite simple. He is secretive and keeps his feelings to himself. He wants commitment but may not want to show it.

The man especially if he is Asian, is not that outspoken when it comes to matters of relationships. He desires intimacy but won’t take the necessary steps to cross the bridge to meet the woman in the middle. The man tends to put his emotions on ice, and reserves his passion for sports cars and work.

If he views his relationship like his other passions, he believes he has the answer to everything… a solution for every problem. Being open about it, however, is near possible to most men.
